Jack Reznicki comes to us via Canon's Explorers of Light and he is a very interesting gentleman, and I believe his presentation ""Visual Perception" is going to be one you won't want to miss.  Jack is also going to give us some insights regarding copyright law which is a topic many of us need to be aware of with the increased use of the internet these days.

Below is Jack's bio and a couple of his wonderful photos.

Jack is a world-renowned photographer, teacher, lecturer, and author. His presentations are always insightful, humorous, and refreshingly candid. He is proud to have been appointed a guest professor at Shandong University of Art and Design in Jinan, China and named a Mo-Tse Grand Master Photographer in China. He is an Honorary Fellow of the New Zealand Institute of Professional Photography and has twice received the IPC (International Photographic Council) Leadership medal at the United Nations. Jack was the featured speaker at photo festivals in the Philippines, Indonesia, and New Zealand, among others.

Being active in the photography community, Jack served as the President of Professional Photographers of America (PPA) and named an Honorary Master Photographer. He was a founding board member and President of Advertising Photographers of America (APA) and sat on the NY board of American Society of Media Photographers/NY (ASMP/NY).

Jack is a graduate of the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) with a BFA cum laude degree in photography. He opened his first commercial studio in NYC in 1980. Currently he teaches a graduate course at the School of Visual Arts (SVA) in NY in the Masters of Digital Photography program. He also enjoys teaching and leading photo workshops throughout the world, including two in 2018, Portugal in October and and Myanmar in December.

Writing being another passion, Jack is the author of several books on photography including “The Copyright Zone”, “Photographer’s Survival Guide”, “Studio and Commercial Photography” and “Illustration Photography”. He written for many magazines including Petersen’s Photographic magazine with his popular “Pro Vision” column, and a column in Photoshop User Magazine called “The Copyright Zone”. Jack has been profiled in the British Journal of Photography, China’s Professional Photography magazine, and many magazines in the US.
